Adventures in Printmaking: Relief

Finally, an update!

I’ve been delayed in my printmaking updating since my portfolio has still not been returned to me. At least I got a good grade on it!  I did dig up some practice prints I did for my relief print project.

The assignment was to “respond” to a poem (not illustrate it) and I choose “I’m Nobody, Who Are You?”  by Emily Dickinson.

I’m nobody! Who are you?
Are you nobody, too?
Then there’s a pair of us–don’t tell!
They’d banish us, you know. How dreary to be somebody!
How public, like a frog
To tell your name the livelong day
To an admiring bog!
